Olympus 144-hour Digital Voice Recorder w/ PC Link (Refurbished)

It is easy to operate and an excellent value for the money. I highly recommend it. My only complaint is that there is not an "off" switch. It shuts itself off, affer a period of time with no usage. The problem is that if it is in a purse or pocket and bumps against something, it will turn itself on (as a result of the accidential bump). After learning this, through trial and error, it makes one very careful in placing it. Otherwise, it is excellent and I highly recommend it.

I used it right out of the box to catch speakers in three different meetings. It did the job and saved them all seamlessly to my PC. I will use it often from now on.

Easy to use, small and handy. Would recommend this product.

Sorry, but with my prior Olympus recorder, the ear phone jack started only using one side of the earphones. I have tried multiple earphones, and buds, but I only get the sound out of one side. Can't really understand why, but I like it anyway. I think the value is in how much storage it has

well, mine was refurbished and you could say refurbished badly. i am actually in the process of returning it. first, the screen say 23 hrs remaining when it should be 144 hours of record time. (it's like why even upgrade to this model then?) Plus the PC link doesn't work. I installed the software for it as well and did a test record and the recordings could not transfer to the software. Yes, i have windows XP and the disc given is for that version of windows but it didn't work. whatta bummer. you may as well buy the cheapest version of this style and forget the pc link idea. i know they have another one below this grade with 71 hours and a pc link and like 4 bucks cheaper, but i don't want to be double disappointed. it's not worth it. that one did get good reviews though!
